Dr. Shohreh Ghasemi

Dr. Shohreh Ghasemi (born January 16, 1984) is an Iranian oral surgeon with an extensive academic and professional background. Ghasemi graduated from Sharjah University with a BDS in dental surgery in 2009. Ghasemi obtained her diploma in Laser and Skin and Physics in 2012, and in 2013 she joined the fellowship for facial cosmetic surgery.
Afterwards, she enrolled at Manchester University in the UK, where she earned her MS in Aesthetic Dentistry in 2015. Ghasemi relocated to the US in 2017 to enroll in New York University’s advanced program in aesthetics for international dentists. She earned an associate fellowship in implant dentistry from New York University and was a researcher in the department of craniofacial sciences at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Ghasemi then moved to Las Vegas, where she finished her master’s program in face implants that same year.
Throughout 2017, she worked as a global medical advisor for several dental-related businesses, including Silhouette, Instalift, Bellafill and Dermapose, Prollenium, and Sinclair Company. The following year in 2018, she enrolled in the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain to study oral surgery. She then joined Cristalix as a partner and representative. The next year saw her return to the US in 2019, where she worked as an oral surgery resident in the University of Illinois Chicago’s Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Ghasemi relocated to Georgia in 2020, where she began working as an adjunct faculty member at Augusta University, and later earned the title of adjunct clinical assistant professor that she continues to hold today.
Dr. Richard Schlossberg

Dr. Richard Schlossberg is a veteran dentist with close to 50 years of experience practicing in the state of Maryland, USA, having owned a private dental practice for 46 years working alongside a dedicated group of full time team members who were the heart and soul of the practice.
In 1968, Dr. Schlossberg graduated with a B.A. from the University of Maryland and then proceeded to earn his DDS from the Howard University College of Dentistry located in Washington, DC. Shortly after, from 1972-1974, he became a part of the US Naval Academy in Norfolk, Virginia where he served as a lieutenant and conducted dental operations during the Vietnam War period.
Upon returning to Maryland, Dr. Schlossberg opened his own private dental practice in Baltimore County, where he and several associates worked alongside a team of eight full-time staff. From 1974-2017, the team provided patients with a variety of treatment options for general dentistry, orthodontics, and prosthetics.
As of 2017, Dr. Schlossberg has retired from owning and operating his clinic and now serves as a part of the University of Maryland’s Dean’s Faculty. Additionally, he volunteers at the Access Carroll Dental Clinic, which is operated by the University of Maryland’s College of Dentistry.
With his decades of practical professional experience and vast knowledge of the American dental industry, Dr. Schlossberg became a dental consultant for the Berklee Research Group starting in the Fall of 2021 and continuing into the present. He provides valuable insight through analysis of patient dental charts to support possible acquisition of dental practices.
Dr. Barry Lee Musikant

Dr. Barry Lee Musikant is the President, Co-Director of Dental Research, and Co-Founder of Essential Dental Systems (EDS), a dental manufacturing company located in South Hackensack, NJ. The company's roots stem from the desire for product improvements to the items of focus in Dr. Musikant's lectures and daily practice. After much research and development, the patented Flexi-Post and Ti-Core were produced to meet his needs and today are the number one post and core build-up in the United States and Canada. Dr. Musikant is also the co-developer of the SafeSiders and EZ-Fill bi-directional spiral, which is the quickest and most economical instrumentation and obturation system on the market today.
His career first started when Dr. Musikant attended the University of Pennsylvania, receiving his B.A. in 1965 and D.M.D. in 1969. An internship at the Jewish Memorial Hospital (1969-1970) and Endodontic residence at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center (1970-1972) completed his post-graduate studies.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Academy of General Dentistry, The Dental Society of NY, First District Dental Society, Academy of Oral Medicine, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. He is also a fellow of the American College of Dentistry (FACD).
Dr. Musikant also conducts lectures for Essential Dental Seminars, which is a division of Essential Dental Systems. He offers a variety of continuing education sessions teaching techniques for Instrumentation, Obturation, and Restoration. All Essential Dental Seminars are ADA and AGD approved and recognized. The opportunities brought about by his lectures and scheduling have taken Dr. Musikant to over 250 international and domestic locations.

Dr. Hadis Atajafari BDS is a general dentist from India who attended the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences from 2011 to 2016. She then attended the NSVK Dental College in Banaglore India in 2017, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and went on to win the Best Prize at the National Seminar on Dentistry during her studies.
Dr. Atajafari's uniqueness among her peers comes from her involvement in numerous professional ventures in both dentistry and social impact work, combining two of her greatest passions. While she maintains a self-employed dental practice at Peredent Oral Healthcare, she is also the Co-Owner of Camp Samaritan. Dr. Liliana Fonseca BDS is an experienced dentist from Portugal who graduated from dental school in 2002. Since then, she has attended various post-graduate education courses on her favorite subjects: Oral Surgery, implantology and Minimally Invasive Oral Rehabilitation
Her continued passion for learning the various aspects of dentistry culminated in obtaining two master’s degrees, Oral Surgery and Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Bhargavi Dasari

Dr. Bhargavi Dasari is a Dentist, Researcher, and a Yoga trainer. Dr. Dasari graduated B.D.S from MGR university and completed Masters in Oral Medicine and Radiology from Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, India. Dr. Dasari then came to the US and graduated from Rutgers university with a DMD. In her senior year, she served as a resident in a community health center to serve underserved and underinsured population.
Currently, Dr. Dasari is practicing general dentistry in a private practice in Bloomington, IL., along with her husband Dr. Izaz Shaik.
Dr. Bhargavi Dasari along with Dr. Izaz Shaik and several other leaders in the American dental industry founded the American Association of International Dentists (AAIDS) in 2023. Its mission is to promote the cross-border exchange of young and new dental minds from across the globe who have an interest in pursuing research or career opportunities in the USA.
The AAIDS operates as a non-profit organization that helps international dentists prevail in dental knowledge while also supporting the advancement of American public health. Often dental licensing and initial education process of dentists in US differs for citizens and immigrants in terms of loans, visa, and licensing requirements. Dr. Dasari’s previous experience working as a mentor for international dental students along with the fact that there were no valid platforms in the US to educate foreign dentists at the time led her and her colleagues to form the AAIDS.
Through the AAIDS, CE courses are provided to international dental students along with the awards and honors they deserve, while also protecting their rights, interests, and welfare. Additionally, members and representatives of the AAIDS encourage and recruit dentists to volunteer in underserved areas of the world where they travel and perform dental treatments once a year.
Dr. Barbara Bulla

Dr. Barbara Bulla is an oral surgeon and dentist from Austria. She studied dentistry and general medicine at the Medical University of Vienna, the country's most prestigious university. With her dual degree in dentistry and general medicine, Dr. Bulla is able to facilitate a holistic and greater overall picture of her patients' oral health through combining traditional dental knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of the human body's processes.
Her broad work expertise includes close collaborations with Austria's leading maxillofacial surgeons that have helped her develop the academic and surgical skills that she utilizes today in both her research and her practice. However, Dr. Bulla 's area of expertise is on the impact of HIV in dentistry, and how oral health treatments should be approached on patients with the disease. Her interest in this particular subject began she was working with an HIV specialist during her studies at the university. Dr. Bulla decided to specialize in the particular care of patients living with HIV or AIDS after seeing how neglected this field of practical medicine was in her field in both the number of specialists and the amount of relevant research.
She has since conducted substantial studies and contributed much to the development of this specialization both locally and internationally. She was named as the head HIV Specialist at one of Vienna's renowned clinics where she consults health professionals about the proper procedures to undergo while dealing with HIV patients.
Dr. Nicole Winitsky

Dr. Aida Karagah is an Assistant Professor and Research Deputy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Qazvin University of Medical Sciences and the Qazvin Dental School, located in Iran’s Qazvin province.
There is a strong relationship between Dr. Karagah and the Qazvin University of Medical Sciences that has existed since she began her college education there in September of 2002. She earned her DDS at the university in 2009, and subsequently returned in 2012 to complete her Post-Doctoral Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, graduating in 2017 and accepting a position to teach there soon after.
Since October 2017, Dr. Karagah has been responsible for the grade assessment and academic advising of students, planning of structured lectures, test construction and the teaching of specialized dentistry language and terminology.
Additionally, she contributes regularly to university research committees and the organization of undergraduate research projects as well as participates in senior seminars including the World Congress of Surgery.
Dr. Karagah has won awards from the QUMS both as a student and as a part of their faculty there. In 2007, she won the 2007 Award for Elected student of Dentistry, and in 2022 she received the Award for Elected Researcher. She is also a Member of the Iranian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Aside from her career in teaching as an assistant professor, Dr. Karagah’s practical dental experience includes hospital management of patients, facial cosmetic surgery, orthogenetic surgery, dental implantology, and facial reconstruction.
She has also written and published several scientific articles and attended many conferences, both domestic and international, since 2019.

Dr. Acero Penagos is a distinguished endodontics expert who first pursued general dentistry in his homeland of Colombia before moving to Chile to specialize in endodontics, earning an esteemed award for academic excellence from Andres Bello University. Prior to his current work, Dr. Acero served as a professor at the university after finishing his postgraduate program. With over a decade of clinical experience and contributions to the field via lecturing roles, Dr. Acero became a key opinion leader for modern endodontics in the Latin American region. This recognition has led him to be invited internationally to conduct courses in countries such as Guatemala and Switzerland. He has also been a speaker at prominent endodontic congress gatherings internationally, including at the IFEA World Congress.
Continuing education for dental professionals is an incredibly valuable aspect of Dr. Acero’s professional life, not only as a teacher but as a participant himself. Throughout the course of his career, he has spent time across the United States in various endodontic-focused dental offices, gaining valuable insights from cross-border and cross-cultural learning exchanges. He has been to Fort Lauderdale in Florida as well as in Dallas and in Houston, Texas, where he also spent time at the renowned UT Health University shadowing the local endodontic experts there.
Dr. Acero’s travels within Latin America and outside of it to regions such as North America and Europe have significantly contributed to the development of a well-rounded perspective on the state of global endodontics and have been a key motivator in his dedication to advance the practice of endodontics globally.

Dr. Steven Olmos was in private practice for more than 40 years, with the last 30 years devoted to research and treatment of craniofacial pain and sleep-related breathing disorders. In 2023, he made the decision to retire from clinical practice to focus on advancing the fields of pain and sleep through research.
He obtained his DDS from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and is Board Certified in both chronic pain and sleep breathing disorders by the American Board of Crainofacial pain, American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, and American Board of Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Olmos is the founder of TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centres International, with over 65 licensed locations in seven countries dedicated exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of craniofacial pain and sleep disorders. Dr. "Dayo" Oluwadayo Oluwadara DDS

Dr. "Dayo" Oluwadayo Oluwadara DDS is a dentist with many hats and a passion for dental research.
In 1997, he completed his first degree, a BDS from the University of Ibadan, in his home country of Nigeria. He then proceeded with a Master's program, earning an MS in Anatomy in 2005.
Afterwards, Dr. Dayo moved to the United States, becoming a US citizen. He went to UCLA, graduating with an MS in Cellular and Molecular Pathology in 2008 and then completing a PhD in Oral Biology there as well in 2010.
In order to practice dentistry in the US, Dr. Dayo acquired a DDS from the University of Minnesota in 2011. He would move around from Wisconsin to Texas and then back to California, conducting clinical work, research and even volunteering throughout each of these states.
As a result of his travels and experience, Dr. Dayo holds multiple licenses and even US Army status as a reserve dentist.
Currently, Dr. Dayo resides and practices in California while continuing to conduct research on topics such as oral disease, biomarkers, and facial reconstruction.

Dr. Himanshi Kalra BDS, MDS has been a dental professional for over 8 years, having graduated in 2015 from MMU University in Ambala, India. Her first experience was at an internship from Maulana Azad Dental College, located in Delhi, India. After getting exposure to a diversity of patients from across the various fields in dentistry, she made the decision to specialize as a dentist and pursue a master’s degree in dental surgery. Dr. Kalra went back to her alma mater at MMU University to acquire her MDS in Prosthodontics & Oral Implantology.
During the years of her MDS degree, Dr. Kalra realized her potential as an educator after attending several dental conferences throughout India and abroad and participating in presentations at different levels. The culmination of her post-graduate studies was a research paper on the topic of the Neutral Zone, which won her a “Best Paper Presentation Award” at one such conference.
After the completion of her MDS, Dr. Kalra joined Healing Touch Dental Care, a clinic in Delhi, where she worked as an associate for some time to develop her skills further. Additionally, to better get in touch with society and the local people around her, she provided free dental check up camps to help the underserved population understand the importance and necessity of dental treatment in India.
By 2022, Dr. Kalra was able to solidify her own status as a capable dental practitioner and opened her own practice in Delhi, India, 361 Dental Solutions. Her practice offers treatment and services around implantology, root canals, scaling, fillings, veneers, smile designing, full mouth reconstruction cases. She believes that managing a dental clinic provides her with new and fulfilling learning experiences every day. Through her work as a dental practice owner, an educator, and as a volunteer within her own community, she wishes to share said experiences and knowledge with her fellow dentists.
Dr. Ross W. Nash DDS
Private Dental Practitioner specializing in Esthetic Dentistry. Founder. Accredited Member and Fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and recipient of 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award. Director of the Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Dr. Ross W. Nash earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. in Textile Engineering in 1970. He worked as an engineer before entering dentistry school in 1974 at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, Chapel Hill, NC. After graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978, Dr. Nash opened his own private practice in 1980 to focus on the area of esthetic dentistry, and began writing and presenting programs on cosmetic and esthetic dentistry in 1982, both of which he continues to do.
Dr. Nash enjoys dental photography and has compiled over one million slides of actual cases he has performed. This does not include his digital photography catalogue. He photographs every case for office records and presentations. Various dental companies have used his slides for technique brochures and marketing.
He has been an adjunct faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry in Augusta, Baylor Dental School, and New York University. He currently serves as the director of the Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Huntersville, North Carolina.
His professional memberships include The American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Charlotte Dental Society and American Society for Dental Aesthetics. Dr. Nash is a member of the Academy for Private Dental Practice, and he is also an accredited Member and Fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the recipient of their 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dr. Nash’s excitement towards dentistry is as great today as the day he graduated from dental school. The cosmetic scope of dentistry opens new windows for both patient and dental professionals in esthetic and restorative dentistry. The ever-constant improvement of materials, techniques, and technology make dentistry a perpetual challenge, and he derives great personal and professional satisfaction from this continued growth. Debra Engelhardt-Nash
Dental trainer, author, presenter, and consultant. Founding member of the National Academy of Dental Management Consultants, President of the American Academy for Private Dental Practice, and co-founder of the Nash Institute for Dental Learning.
Debra Engelhardt-Nash has been in dentistry for over 30 years. She is a trainer, author, presenter, and consultant. Debra has presented workshops nationally and internationally for numerous study groups and organizations. As a result of her work, she has had the honor of meeting amazing people and speaking in beautiful countries such as Peru, Sweden, Romania, England, Croatia, France, and Turkey. She is a repeat presenter for the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Yankee Dental Meeting, and the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.
Debra was a contributing editor for “Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice” magazine, “Contemporary Dental Assistant” magazine and has written for several dental publications. She has been honored twice as author of the year for her contributions to dental journals. She was also an instructor for the Central Piedmont Community College Dental Assisting Program and a guest instructor for Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and Oregon Health Sciences University Continuing Dental Education.
Debra is a founding member and served three terms as President of the National Academy of Dental Management Consultants. Debra is also the President of the American Academy for Private Dental Practice. She has been repeatedly recognized by Dentistry Today as a Leader in Continuing Dental Education and Dental Consulting. Debra is also on the board of the American Dental Association’s Dental Practice Management Advisory Board.
Because of her contributions to the industry of dentistry, Debra received the Kay Moser Distinguished Service Award given by the American Dental Assistants Association. She has also been chosen as one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry Dental Products Report and a Leader in Consulting and Education by Dentistry Today. Debra is the 2015 recipient of the Gordon Christensen Lecturer Recognition award.
Together with her husband, Dr. Ross Nash, she has co-founded the Nash Institute for Dental Learning – a post graduate training facility for cosmetic and esthetic dentistry and practice management, business training, located in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Abreham Ayele DMD

Dr. Abreham Ayele is a lecturer at Madawalabu University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He specializes in major and minor surgeries of the head and neck areas, with a sub-specialty in cleft and craniofacial surgery. He is proficient in bilateral hand use as a surgeon.
In 2017, Dr. Ayele received his DMD in dentistry from Jimma University, and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty certificate from St Paul's Hospital Millenium Medical College three years later in 2020. During his post-graduate years, he has worked as a lecturer, dental unit leader, clinician and volunteered in various college and hospital settings.
Currently, Dr. Ayele continues to learn about the nuances of his profession through research and continuing education training. His most recent certification earned from continuing education efforts is a certificate in Filler Lip Injection from the American Association for Continuous Education.
Outside of his profession, Dr. Ayele is a part of the Young African Leaders initiatives (YALI) Network providing charity services. He enjoys volunteer work in his community, teaching and assisting with dentistry and mobilization efforts that can support underserved populations with their oral health needs as well as providing mentorship to aspiring dental students.

Dr. Jason Pang

Dr. Jason Pang completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree (Biomedical Science) in 1994 from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) with the University Medal. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2002. Since 2008, he has maintained a private practice in Sydney, Australia where he has used multiple lasers. Additionally, Dr. Pang is the part owner of Laser Therapy Sydney, which provides targeted and full body healing using photo biomodulation with a range of World Association of Photo Biomodulation Therapy (WALT) recommended LED and laser devices.
Dr. Pang is an educator and international speaker, speaking on topics such as ozone, Cone Beam Volumetric Tomography (CBVT), microscopes, lasers for dental and aesthetic treatments and phase-contrast microscopy for assessment of the oral microbiome.
Currently, he is the Australian Master trainer for Fotona and Pioon lasers. He has completed two Masters in Laser Dentistry - one from the prestigious Laser & Health Academy (LA&HA) in Slovenia and another from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Roma (UCSC). He now teaches part of the program for the LA&HA, UCSC and European Masters in Oral Laser Applications (EMDOLA) Masters courses.
Dr Pang was the former chairman of the Australian and New Zealand Study Club of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) and is a current member of the Australian Medical Photobiomodulation Association (AMPA). His aim is to educate and encourage the use of lasers within clinical practices, educational institutions and public clinics. Dr. Pang is also a founding member of the International Academy of Innovative Dentistry (IAID), which teaches courses on innovative equipment and techniques to improve the skills of dentists.
In recognition of his extensive and innovative work in his field, Dr Pang was invited to author the chapter “Innovative Dentistry” in the Amazon best-selling book “Game Changers: Entrepreneurs Leading Change,” a book about business owners that are disrupting their industries by doing things differently.
Kelly-Marie O'Brien

Kelly-Marie O’Brien is a Senior Dental Nurse and Dental Nurse Trainer with 23 years of service in dentistry. Currently, she maintains a position as a Dental Compliance Expert and the founder of KOB Compliance Ltd. She started out as a dental nurse in the year 2000, qualifying in the year 2003, and then worked with practices in the private, corporate and NHS sectors across the UK.
In 2017, Kelly completed a qualification in fluoride application and oral health education. She served as an Oral Health and Practice Management Educator, helping with clinics as well as going in to primary schools educating children and teachers alike.
3 years later in 2020, she obtained a qualification in dental practice management and business management, alongside several other related qualifications to supplement her skillset in dentistry. She qualified as level 3 safeguarding lead, educating her colleagues about the importance of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults in dental practices. She completed a NFCE college course in 2021 that has qualified her to serve as a data protection officer for dentists looking to comply with the GDPR and is registered with the ICO for full assurance in handling client data lawfully and safely.
As of November of 2023, Kelly has started her own company, KOB Compliance Ltd., to provide her expertise as a service as well as train others in dental compliance education. She offers various levels of dental compliance, training and general consultancy advice in person or face. Her main compliance package assists practices through their inspections and helps them to apply policies and procedures to their practices day to day with robust strategies that are easy to follow and utilize.
Kelly is enthusiastically compassionate and committed to providing a high-quality standard of dental compliance. She believes it is the foundation of a dental practice and contributes to not only an excellent patient experience, but a structured working environment for the whole team. Dr. Lee Weinstein is a well-travelled and experienced Pediatric Dentist, health educator and consultant who was born and raised in Philadelphia, but has moved around Northern New Jersey, New York, and is now based in Arizona.
He is involved in many dental organizations for the betterment of all dentists, including being the founder of Core Smiles Consulting and being an advisory board member of IBCCES, an organization that provides professional autism & neurodiversity training and certification. He served 3 years as State Dental Director for Arizona Medicaid working with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on various projects.
Aside from his main career where he has spent 38 years in private practice and 25 years in teaching at a Dental School and Hospital residency, Dr. Weinstein has taken on a variety of roles. These include being an author, appearing on television, being an expert witness in court cases, and even working for 5 years in an insurance company dealing with claims adjudication and fraud, waste and abuse cases.
Dr. Weinstein is married with three girls and loves to travel, have fun, and help people where and when possible. He has worked with the sealant program in Arizona for the underserved community previously, and since the COVID-19 pandemic, he has been writing blog posts on multiple sites weekly to help educate the dental community. His post topics range from overall health, dental health, nutritional information, to fun facts and working to get the dental world more respected.

Dr. M. Shriya Jaiswal BDS MSD PhD* graduated from Pusan National University in South Korea with a master's degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery after completing her undergraduate studies in India. She is currently employed as a research fellow while in the process of obtaining her PhD in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the same university.
Her contributions to research are evident through her publications and presentations, showcasing her dedication to advancing medical knowledge. Engaging with national and international conferences and seminars, such as the Japanese Society for Jaw Deformities and the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, has honed her ability to effectively communicate intricate ideas. She now wishes to stay in the academic realm and is joining Advancemy as a collaborator to guide dental graduates about the fundamentals of dentistry as well as forthcoming concepts and developments in her specialized field.
Aside from her primary role as a researcher, Dr. Jaiswal is an Oral Health Educator with Colgate's "Bright Smile Bright Future" project, a role in which she has dedicated herself to bringing about meaningful change in the dental healthcare industry. She has also taken on responsibilities as a Public Health Intern, Health Coach Intern, and Digital Marketing Intern. In addition, she hosts and moderates the Dentist Channel Online Digital Platform.
