THE KEY TO SUCCESS IN SALES AND BUSINESS IS ESTABLISHING GENUINE TRUST WITH PATIENTS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TREATMENT PROCESS, FROM PRE TO POST-TREATMENT.

Patients are often nervous or anxious about dental procedures, and it is important for them to feel comfortable and confident in their dentist’s abilities. Building trust with patients is essential for any dentist or healthcare professional. Without trust, even the most skilled dentists will struggle to attract and retain patients. Below are a few of the "Golden Rules" which will be elaborated on throughout this course:

UTILIZE WORDS EFFECTIVELY

Effectively building up trust relies on effective communication. Your words and attitude towards your patients also go a long way towards easing tensions and helping your patient settle in to their treatment with ease.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

As a dentist, your body language, which is the use of nonverbal cues such as eye contact, facial expressions, and posture can convey confidence, empathy, and professionalism. Your first impression counts!

CREATE COMFORT IN YOUR CLINIC

Providing empathy and a welcoming environment should be your priority as a healthcare provider. You will find that even little things like lighting and colors will improve a patient's mood and cooperation with you.

TO BE TRULY SUCCESSFUL, EVERY DENTIST MUST UNDERSTAND AND HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THEIR ABILITY TO IMPLEMENT THESE “GOLDEN RULES” TO ATTRACT AND RETAIN EXISTING AND NEW PATIENTS TO THEIR PRACTICE.

Students will be taught Dr. Hadis's "Golden Rules" of building patient trust, which will be discussed through an explanation that first delves into the phases of building trust in patients, then elaborates on the importance of choosing language in both one's actions and words to make patients feel at ease while demonstrating your own, genuine confidence and professionalism.

MEET THE EDUCATOR

Dr. Hadis Atajafari BDS

Dr. Hadis Atajafari BDS is a general dentist from India who attended the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences from 2011 to 2016. She then attended the NSVK Dental College in Banaglore India in 2017, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and went on to win the Best Prize at the National Seminar on Dentistry during her studies.

Dr. Atajafari's uniqueness among her peers comes from her involvement in numerous professional ventures in both dentistry and social impact work, combining two of her greatest passions. While she maintains a self-employed dental practice at Peredent Oral Healthcare, she is also the Co-Owner of Camp Samaritan. Both her clinic and the camp are situated in the Yelagiri Hills region of India, where people come to explore nature and take time to unwind from modern society through camping, agricultural activities, organic gardening, and geographical exploration. As such, she often hosts and organizes camping events for dentists that lets them explore dentistry from a different angle.

After obtaining her BDS, Dr. Atajafari worked as an assistant dentist at Cornerstone Dental Clinic from 2017-2018 before founding her own dental practice the following year in 2019. She is wholeheartedly dedicated to her work and educating everyone, not just her patients, about the importance of their oral hygiene.

She has experience working on Fillings, Root Canals, Scaling, Crowns, Dentures, and Post and Core procedures.
